Planning a trip and need your jabs sorted? We run a private travel clinic close to Mottingham, so you can be seen quickly rather than waiting for a GP appointment. Our GPhC-registered pharmacists assess exactly what you need for your destination, give your vaccinations, and sort any malaria tablets in the same appointment. From a weekend break to a long multi-country trip, we build your plan around your itinerary so you are protected in good time before you fly.
Good travel health care should be easy to reach. Our two Chislehurst pharmacies sit a short journey from Mottingham and the surrounding SE9 area, so you can call in for a consultation without a long trip or a wait for the surgery. There is no referral to arrange and no waiting list, which counts for a lot when your departure date is close.

Your visit starts with a short travel health consultation. We look at where you are going, how long for, the time of year and what you will be doing, then recommend the vaccines and medication that fit your trip. Two people flying to the same country can need very different protection, so the advice is built around you rather than a fixed list.
Bring any record of vaccines you have had before, as it saves repeating anything you do not need, along with your travel dates and a rough outline of your route. Where a vaccine is needed and in stock, we can usually give the first dose at the same appointment.

We provide a full range of travel vaccines. Your pharmacist will confirm what you need for your destination, but the ones we provide most often are:
Every trip is assessed individually, but this gives a sense of what is often advised by region. We confirm your exact plan at the consultation.
We do not currently offer the yellow fever vaccine ourselves. Where a country requires a yellow fever certificate, we will tell you and point you to an approved centre.

Answer four quick questions and we will show the vaccines we would usually discuss for your trip. It is guidance only, and your pharmacist confirms everything at your appointment.

There is no vaccine against malaria for most travellers, so where it is a risk we prescribe antimalarial tablets suited to your destination, and supply them at the same appointment. Tablets work alongside avoiding bites, not instead of it. We will talk you through practical bite prevention too: cover up at dusk and dawn, use an effective insect repellent, and sleep under a net where your room is not screened.
We look after families too. Some travel vaccines have a minimum age or a different dose for children, so we assess each child individually and keep the visit calm and quick. Bring their vaccination record if you have it, and we will fit their protection around the family trip.

A lot of the trips we plan for head to Asia and Africa, where a little preparation makes a real difference. If you already know where you are going, our destination guides set out what is usually advised: see Thailand, India and The Gambia, or read the full overview on our travel vaccinations page.

The service is private, quick and led by a pharmacist who knows travel health, with no waiting lists and no referral to arrange.

In most cases the same day or the next day. If you are flying soon, call us and we will do our best to fit you in before you go.
Six weeks before travel is ideal, as some courses need more than one dose, but two to four weeks is fine for most vaccines, and last-minute is still worth it.
We do not currently offer the yellow fever vaccine. Some countries require a certificate, so if yours does, we will tell you at your consultation and point you to an approved yellow fever centre.
